DFPP (Double Filtration Plasmapheresis) uses two sequential filters: the first separates plasma from blood cells; the second selectively removes large harmful molecules — antibodies, immune complexes, LDL, and pro-inflammatory cytokines — while returning your own albumin and beneficial proteins. Standard plasma exchange removes and replaces all plasma with donor albumin or plasma. DFPP is more selective, does not require replacement plasma products, and carries a lower risk of transfusion-related reactions.

DFPP is clinically established for autoimmune conditions (Systemic Lupus, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Myasthenia Gravis, Sjögren’s Syndrome), neurological disorders (Guillain-Barré Syndrome, CIDP, NMO Spectrum Disorder), and lipid disorders (familial hypercholesterolaemia, severe elevated LDL). It is also used in regenerative medicine and longevity protocols to remove pro-inflammatory cytokines and senescent proteins associated with biological aging. DFPP has a well-established safety profile supported by decades of clinical use and published research. Each session takes approximately 3–4 hours; you remain awake throughout and are monitored continuously by our physician and clinical staff. Most patients experience minimal side effects e.g. mild fatigue or light-headedness immediately after the session is the most commonly reported, resolving within hours. Serious adverse events are rare. Your eligibility and any contraindications are confirmed through pre-treatment diagnostics before the programme begins.
